| 100th Anniversary of International Women's Day. One local event will be held in Columbus, featuring an evening lighted march, inspiration and entertainment at YES Cinema, 4th and Jackson Streets. Keynote speech by the Honorable Viola Taliaferro, the first African American female judge in Southern Indiana, who has received numerous awards for her work with families and children. | Attend the Indiana State Fair for $2.00 and ride shuttle buses free all day. Sponsors include Turkey Hill Dairy. Many food items are $2.00. Look at the events of the day here. For example, Greensburg Adult Center will use its 18-passenger, wheelchair-lift equipped bus to take you to the fair, leaving at 7:30 am and returning at 4:30 pm, for $5 to cover fuel costs.
